Ingersoll Rand announced the launch of its new generation of MSG? Turbo-Air? 2000 centrifugal compressor for Indian market. MSG? TURBO-AIR? 2000 has capability to cater flow capacity from 505 CFM to 1,700 CFM with pressure range from 3.5 Barg to 10 Barg.

Despite the Rs 2,500-crore concrete equipment industry registered nearly 40 per cent fall in the market and is under severe pressure, there is tremendous growth opportunities in the long term.

Self-loading Concrete Mixer

The new launch will augment its leadership position in concreting equipment.The newly launched self- loading concrete mixer has been totally developed by in-house R&D team and is available in 2 and 4 cu m/h capacities. The product is ideal for projects which require constant shifting of machines like canal lining, road dividers, as well as windmill and irrigation projects. The machine can self load the aggregate, batch mix, transport and discharge the concrete at specific locations.

Stalled but Hopeful

In spite of the present slowdown and resultant sluggishness in the CE market, the long- term growth prospects are still intact; and experts view the huge infrastructure deficit as a major growth driver and prudent steps from the government can bring India back on the growth trajectory.
